Our first full day in Leander, Texas we decided it would be fun to take a family outing (Elams and McClearys) to Sea World in San Antonio. This meant we were taking 6 kids and being the person I am, I made sure to check all the tips and information I could find about bringing food and such in to Sea World. It was a good thing I did because they do limit the size of coolers and food brought in to their facility.
My little navigators saw the maps the minute we walked in the entrance and all had to have their own.
Fun fact: We split the kids so they each held someone’s hand. Uncle Keith had his sweet little man Carter, Brianna and Elizabeth were a pair. Aunt Julie had Zachary, Cameron walked with daddy and I had Matthew with me.
We spent much of our time checking out the different sea life around the park and caught one show. We spent a good deal of our time in the children’s area that had kid friendly rides and a spray ground. Brianna went on one of the big roller coasters with her daddy and Randy, she did not want to ride it again. The whole time they were riding Elizabeth was crying and it was because she did not what her daddy to ride the big roller coaster…thus she would not smile for pictures with Aunt Julie and myself.
They kids loved all the rides and checking out the animals. They really enjoyed spending time with their Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins. Of course their favorite part was probably getting soaking wet at the spray ground. We are already planning on making a return trip to Sea World at some point!
