Austin Children’s Museum

While in Leander we took a day to check out children’s museum in Austin.  Let’s just say the kids were not disappointed.

The whole crew, expect mommy. Someone had to take the picture. ;)

There were several rooms to explore and they all found something about each room they enjoyed.  The first room we made it to was the tinker room.

Next we made it to the art area.  This was a fun area full of items to create with including toilet paper rolls, tape, caps, old food containers and more.  All 7 of us were creating in this room.  The kids all made binoculars and a few other things.

I think the favorite room was the ball room.  There were tracks all over the room and you used golf balls on them.  We could have spent hours in here.

We finished in the train area, which was over the dairy to market and restaurant.  They did migrate back to the cooking before we left.

We had a great day exploring and playing!  I really wish it was here in Kansas City.  Although we have one similar here on the Kansas side that we will have to make it back to visit.  Thank you Aunt Julie and Brianna for going with us!
