Mommy Daughter Date!

Last weekend Elizabeth and I had the pleasure of having a mommy daughter date.  We were very excited that Sarah and Cassie (from OMG There’s Three)  could join us and double the fun!  It is not every day these two little girls get girl time with just their mommies!  So of course we took full advantage of the time and had a blast!

Our first stop was at Nail EnVogue Salon at Zona Rosa, where we all had our toes done!  It was so nice to sit back and relax while we all were pampered.  This was both of the girls first time having their nails done somewhere other than at home.  They both had a hard time picking a nail color because there were so many shades of pink!

Once we all settled on a color it was time to get pampered!  I think the best part was watching the girls carefully observe their toes being painted.  It was very sweet.

After we were all beautified we had to decided on a place to eat.  Elizabeth suggested Applebees so we made our way over there for lunch.  Sarah and Cassie followed us in their van and the whole way Elizabeth continued to ask me where they were.  She was very worried they were not following us.  Once we arrived the girls walked in hand in hand.

It was one of the cutest things I have seen.  The girls even started off sitting together but when our food came we switched so they were sitting with mommies.  This helped us to make sure they were eating.

After some catching up and great food we headed over to Joanne’s so Sarah could look at material.  The girls loved having free reign over the isles and were playing chase and peek-a-boo through the several isles of fabric.  At one point I saw Elizabeth hold out a piece of pink fabric and Cassie would nod in approval or shake in disapproval.  They did this for several minutes, it was so funny to me because it was something that one would do when fabric shopping, but I doubt either of them really knew that.

Elizabeth told me it was the best day ever!

We had such a fun day with our friends and can not wait for another mommy daughter outing.
