Today turned out to be a beautiful day. It was a little breezy but with a jacket we were set for the adventures that awaited us in our own backyard. Of course I made sure to grab our camera and get a few shots of the kids. We had a lot of fun swinging, sliding, and exploring our own backyard.
We are not always happy. Usually the tears in our house are because we got hurt or someone is using the toy we want. In this case Cameron wanted the play lawn mower and Matthew was using it. That was a pretty pitiful face!
We even found a fuzzy caterpillar. It was funny how Cameron wanted nothing to do with it. Zachary just took a quick peek and moved on. Elizabeth just wanted to watch it. Matthew that it was “so cool” and held it.
Hard to believe it was almost 60 today and by Thursday they are calling for several inches of snow and ice. I am sure that will change before it hits, but living in Missouri has taught me that it can be warm one day and freezing the next. I hope everyone has a great week. I am looking forward to a day off tomorrow to enjoy with my own children.
