Gluten Free Chex Mix

As I promised a few months back I would be posting some of my favorite gluten free recipes.  I have found many online and some I have altered from the original recipe to make it gluten free.  It has been fun finding new recipes to try and tasty as well.  It also means I have be experimenting a lot as well.  This is the first of many recipes I do plan on sharing.  Please feel free to share any gluten free recipes you have tried with me as well.  I can even add them on here and share them with all the readers.  Also let me know if you try one of my and as well as if you liked it or not.

My first recipe is a great one for holiday parties!  Gluten Free Chex Mix is sure to be a hit!  This is also a great one to let the kids help cook.

I had the kids help measure everything out and mix it together.  I let each of them add a cup of each of the cereals.  They helped with every step and we talked about the measuring cups and spoons.  We also counted as we stirred.  They each counted to 15 then it was time for someone else to stir.  They enjoyed helping but they really loved eating it.  It was a huge it!

That looks really good. We will have to try that (for the adults for now and later for the Sugar Snaps when they get a little older). You might be able tow compile your recipes into a gluten free cookbook.

Wow… sounds like a pretty good recipe that we will have to try out. I’m sure the kids would love that and would enjoy helping.
