Our little artists

It is amazing how art work progresses and if you document it you can see the different stages of drawing.  First scribbles, then circles, then mandalas, and then to people that look more like potato heads and after that the child continues to add more details.  Our crew loves to color and draw.  Elizabeth especially!  She is drawing pictures that you can tell what they are and she tells us what they are and is beginning to add stories in her explanations.  She is even writing letters!  The boys would rather draw circles, color, or have mommy and daddy do it.  I know they will progress just as Elizabeth had, but they do not want to sit and draw for long spans of time like she loves to do.  She will sit on the couch curled up in a blanket and draw on a magna doodle forever!  I thought I would share some pictures of our little artists.  I included some of the pictures Elizabeth has drawn with intention and meaning.  I will post pictures for the boys as well when they start to draw things and people.
