Blog News

The wheels have been turning in my head of some fun things to do for the blog!  I have a couple of ideas I will share and one that I am saving…it is a surprise!  First thing I am looking at doing is having a couple of guest bloggers.  I am going to ask some of our family members to share some about their time with our kiddos.  I think this will be fun to see what they say.  I think I will have a couple of standard questions and go from there.  I am also planning on doing a q & a segment.  I have seen a few of my friends doing this on their blogs and learned so much from it!  I think it might be fun to try as well!

So I need some questions to answer!  If you have anything you would like to know about our family I will try to answer it to the best of my ability.  Since Friday is the start of my summer break from school I will have some time to sit and reflect and respond to each question.  Also if you have a question you would like to ask my guest bloggers, let me know!  I know for sure Nana will be one.  She takes care of the crew while Randy and I work so it will be fun to get some insight in to the day time hours!  I will hopefully add to my list of guest bloggers!

March the kids were screened by Parents As Teachers for articulation.  Elizabeth and Matthew have been very articulate so I did not have a concern.  Cameron is more quiet but you can understand him for the most part.  Zachary who I thought would need services actually blossomed about a month before this with his speech! We had been working with him and encouraging him to use his words and he finally took off!  He ended up at that time not qualifying.  Cameron on the other hand was leaving some sounds off the ends of his words.  So last month I took him for another screening. Once it was pointed out I noticed it, I think I was so focused on Zachary I did not catch it.  So now we are working with Cameron.   He made a ton of improvement, but still had enough errors to refer him.  So tomorrow morning I start the paper work for him to have an evaluation in the fall for speech services.  I am still not sure that Zachary will not need some help eventually, but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

Flash Back

Hard to believe that a week from now these pictures will be 3 years old!  Then a week after that our first 2 came home!

Circle of Moms Blog Competition

I want to take a moment to thank all of you for the support you have shown us this year with the Circle of Moms blog contest for Moms of Multiples.  We have already surpassed the amount of votes we received last year when we came in second!  Our family is blessed with wonderful family and friends!  No matter how we place at the end of this tomorrow I know we are loved and supported, which means more to me than coming in 1st!

Of course I will not deny you one last plug for votes tonight. ;-)
