The McCleary Quadruplets

There is never a dull moment when you are raising quadruplets!

Deanna Rose Farmstead

This weekend Northland Mothers of Multiples planned a trip to Deanna Rose.  This is the first time we had been as a family and we really enjoyed our time there.  The kids really liked seeing all the animals.  We of course took our choo choo wagon and around every corner heard a comment.  This trip we were not asked to often if they were quads…but there were many comments we could hear and there was even a lady that tried to take a picture.  Now I understand quads are not something you see everyday,  but really please ask and if you are told no please respect that!  The nerve of some people!  I do try to be understanding and gracious of questions and comments, but please remember our family is just like any other in the fact we deserve our privacy.

The trip went of without a hitch until Matthew gagged on some string cheese.  Let’s just say it was not pretty.  Other than that we had a good time.  The kids loved seeing the cows, chickens, pigs, and goats. I think their favorite was probably the baby goats. Afterwards we went out for some lunch before we headed home for naps.

I can’t believe someone tried to take a picture! People are so weird. I was out with mine today and a woman stopped to ask if they’re triplets. Her next question, “Do you have a lot of people stop to ask you that?” Then told me how her friend with twins got so tired of the questions, she’d have other people push her stroller. If you know its annoying, why would you stop me?

Huh, I probably asked you the same thing at the zoo. Ooops.

Sarah I do not recall you saying anything like that. I do remember you loved the wagon and then later we passes again and you said you thought you followed our blog. Which was the first time I had been told that in public and it made my day…just to know we connect with so many people without multiples is wonderful.
